Fun fights are going down this summer.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is returning to “Music City” in two months on Sat., July 12, 2025, for UFC Nashville and it’s bringing along a pretty fun fight card.
The main event for the card has already been announced as former two-time UFC Heavyweight title challenger, Derrick Lewis, takes on surging, undefeated Brazilian prospect Tallison Teixeira.
Yesterday, the promotion announced some more fights to fill out the card, and here they are:

Chris Curtis is dropping down to Welterweight after 10 fights at Middleweight, and UFC veteran Max Griffin will welcome him to the division.
Curtis (31-12) is coming off a literal last-second, controversial headkick knockout loss to Roman Kopylov at UFC Vegas 101 (watch highlights) and is riding a two-fight losing streak.
Griffin (20-11) got submitted by Michael Chiesa in his last outing at UFC 310 (watch highlights) and has alternated wins and losses in his previous six fights.

In another Welterweight bout, Chidi Njokuani collides with Australia’s Jake Matthews.
After losing three straight fights, Njokuani (25-10) is now riding a three-fight win streak with his most recent win coming against Elizeu Zaleski via knockout (watch highlights).
Matthews (21-7) is riding a two-fight win streak with his most recent win coming against Francisco Prado at UFC 312.

UFC newbie Ateba Gautier a.k.a “Mini Ngannou,” makes his second appearance inside the Octagon against a The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) finalist, Robert Valentin.
Gautier (7-1) turned heads in his UFC debut by absolutely destroying Jose Medina in the first round at UFC Mexico City (watch highlights).
Valentin (10-5) will be looking to score his first UFC win in “Music City.” The Swiss fighter was submitted in his UFC debut, losing the TUF finals, and then lost his most recent fight by getting out-grappled in an absolute snoozer against Torrez Finney.
