BKB 41: Gatti vs Ouba Duran...

BKB 41 isn’t far away now and it features some of the biggest names in the history of combat sports.

Duran and Gatti are both in action in Jacksonville on Saturday night.    

If you love combat sports, you love Arturo Gatti.

His trilogy with Micky Ward and may other of his fights will be remembered forever and this weekend ‘Kid Gatti’ is in action.

Jarod Grant has given himself the ‘Kid Gatti’ nickname in honour of the legend and brings a similar all-action style to combat sports.

Jarod, also an unbeaten pro gloved boxer, meets Rawand Ouba for the interim lightweight championship – and Jarod reckons it’s a must-see fight !

He says that when he throws hands: “It’s never a boring fight” and with 80 per cent of his fights finishing early, the judges aren’t usually needed either.

Rawand also promises “someone will be getting finished” and says their fight will provide “non-stop violence.”

Rawand actually says he is actually a fan of ‘Kid Gatti’ and always felt he would get to the top of bareknuckle boxing.

The Dutchman now intends to replace him there – and in style !

BKB 41 also features the Robert Duran-Rolando Dy that has had a lot of media coverage.

Both are the sons of former world gloved boxing legends and they have shown their DNA already in their bareknuckle careers.

Rolando says their fight is the start of what will prove to be a great rivalry in the trigon.

He says this fight will be so good the fans will want to see them do it all over again – and again.

Rolando believes this will be the equivalent of the Manny Pacquiao-Erik Morales rivalry that lit up the gloved sport.

BKB 41 also features four former world champions looking to get back to the top in the trigon.
